The days are getting longer. I was able to stop by a park near my house and snap this shot on the way home.
Part of the reason I started doing project 365 was to improve my skill with Photoshop. In the future I'll do more pictures like today. I took an ordinary photo in my lightbox and changed it to make it more interesting. The background was originally blue. After I looked at the photo, I thought it was more suited for pink.
While some ducks search the ground for food. Some ducks think outside the box and wonder if they can eat a strange man with a camera.
This flowering tree has waited all winter to unfurl it's pistils and try to spawn.
The sun hides behind a flag as it sets in West Point VA.
There was a beautiful sunset over West Point VA just as the last of the skydivers were landing.
One of my goals with this project is to improve my photoshop skills. I used the blur/overlay technique to bring out the color in this shot.
A photo and a little photoshop edits.
This birdhouse had sticks falling out of the bottom. I couldn't tell if there were any residents.
This birdhouse is choked full of nest makings. It would have been a better photo of a nice robin was standing on top.
This is another picture taken with my Kodak EasyShare C340. The 340 indicates how many AA batteries it will need per year. The sky was overcast and ugly. It's hard to pass up a picture of a helicopter landing right in front of you.
A snapshot from the Food City 500 in Bristol TN. This picture was taken with my Kodak EasyShare C340 5MP pocket camera as Kyle Busch (in the M&Ms fire suit) rode by. I was lucky enough to be standing on the track during driver intros. It's a place that you can't buy access to. It really was awesome. I was standing next to the pyro boxes that went off during the National Anthem.
The pic is a little over exposed. This was taken today at No Limits Skydiving
I was passing by a city park that I haven't been to in a really long time and ducked in to see what I could find. The sun was just setting just over the horizon and made an interesting photo. The white blur in the center right is a floating drink bottle. It's sad to see the abuse of our lakes but it makes the picture more interesting, especially in the super high-resolution version.
